News -- Lottery number on 9/11 is 911:
http://www.msnbc.com/news/807167.asp?pne=msn
&cp1=1
Comment -- What are the odds of that happening? Pretty weird coincidence.
The article says that many customers chose the 911 number to bet on that
day.
News -- Great...West Nile Virus may be in the blood supply:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A10306-2002Sep12.html
Comment -- Brandon sent this story along. "Both Goodman and Petersen urged
the public not to doubt the overall safety of the American blood supply.
"For the average person, if they need a transfusion, the benefits of getting
that transfusion far outweigh any risk, including the risk of getting West
Nile virus," Petersen said."
Still, makes you think it would be a good idea, if you were facing surgery,
to stockpile a supply of your own blood.
