We've had a very nice 4th. Part of our "All American Day" was spent on a great hike up Arctic Valley to the saddle. It was a very big deal for me - as a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome partial recoveree, this was pretty significant. A year ago I didn't think I'd ever be able to hike again. Happy Independence Day!!! As I type, Peter, Songya, and I are sitting on the couch watching the New York Ciy Fireworks show (on tape delay of course). They are very cool! And they are going on forever - totally fabulous. It would be a blast (pun not intended but it is cute) to be there. Oooh - the giant Liberty Bell with the crack is particularly neat.
