I spent most of today listenting to a facinating presentation on cable modem bandwidth utilization studies across large cable systems. It was extremely interesting - P2P and gaming in particular generate very interesting usage patterns.
And I was the only girl in the room. The geekier the topic the fewer the girls.

I've started yet another new category - my daily experiences with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. This stuff effects me every day but I don't want to write about here on my main blog - I'm not out for sympathy and I don't want to whine to casual readers. But I do want to blog what's going on - it's a great way for me to work through questions and issues. Plus I want feedback and experiences from interested readers. So a separate category it is.
