Exactly.  The revolution is coming.  It could be velvety smooth.  It could open up undreamt-of new markets bringing opportunity for everyone.  It could spark creativity not seen in my generation.

Or it could be a long, bitter, protracted battle of attrition causing grave harm to all sides.

Either way, it's coming.  And the outcome is clear.
