Open spectrum gains steam. I was in Washington, DC today to participate in the New America Foundation forum in conjunction with the release of my whitepaper, Open Spectrum: The New Wireless Paradigm.  [Werblog]

Among other things, this paper proposes converting UHF TV channels 60-69 to unlicensed "open" spectrum.  The author claims that people in Washington are listening to arguments about changing the way spectrum is allocated.
