A New Flag to Fly
I put the Think! flag on my page as a reminder that we live in a complex world, even if some of the people who run it tend to oversimplify things. Sean Gallagher, who turns 38 today, has his own standard:
LaChanze Sings for Congress
LaChanze says that singing the national anthem for Congress was exciting. From the unmarked car whisking her down to Federal Hall to the supertight security to being introduced by the Vice-President of the United States, the whole thing happened in a rush. Then she was up in front, singing and hearing the Senators and Representatives joining in, singing and seeing Hillary Clinton and Charles Rangel in the crowd. Even for someone with her stage experience it was intense, and the circumstances made it even moreso.
