A strange time

Strange Days in DC continue as rumors of Code Red and DC evacuation continue. I've received emails today insisting we'll be at Code Red by the week's end, I've found out my company is prepared in case we're stuck in the office for a few days. I've found myself asking questions like "What's my route out of town?" "Where do I go once I've left?" it's strange doing disaster planning. I just got an email from the Corporate Secretary with details on our plans as an organization.

Public Announcement: In the event of the emergency, I will be headed to Pittsburgh, PA or Granville, OH. I will be available on my cell phone, barring collapse in the com nets. Once in a safe place, I will post a message here indicating my location, my intent and my health.

...inluminent has a picture of Jen Garner on his website that requires a cold shower after viewing. If it doesn't show up right away (it's next to the entry called Advertising History -- Radio), click the images link above his calendar at the top.

...Apparently Chimera can't be called Chimera anymore. At least, that's what Ben is saying. They want to call it Camino or iVoyage. Can we get a third option? You can, but don't provide it to the creator. He said "Oh please, for the love of god do not suggest any names either comments or via email. I'll hunt you down and slaughter your family." Touchy, touchy...

...Things to think about with V-Day near. What have you done for love? 10 things we've done for love from fray.com and also, their comments section allows you to tell them what you've done for love. Damn holiday. I really do hate it.

...Instapundit and Mickey Kaus wonder aloud if Osama's really alive, or is it Memorex?

...In Frank's World, Bush gives a diplomatic noogie

...And last but not least, Blame Canada. Works for me, I do it frequently.
