New Linkages.

So, I've added an About Page. I've also added a new blog on the right there, called Sofia Sideshow. It follows the journey of a movie director/screenwriter who lives in Bulgaria, and is currently planning to get into a barfight with John Rhys-Davies. Kickass. I've linked to him before, but now it's all official and stuff. It could also be that he thinks Tiffany is Up and Coming Young, Sexy Talent, which I can't disagree with.

Friday Five

The first Friday Five not to suck in a while, so I figure I might as well...

1. What is your most prized material possession?
Honestly, that's a tough one. If I owned my laptop, I'd say that, but work owns my laptop. Emotionally, I'll go with my baseball glove. Can't-Live-Without-It, I'll go with my iPod, Eurydice.

2. What item, that you currently own, have you had the longest?
My old baseball glove, which actually dates from 5th grade.

3. Are you a packrat?
Not really.

4. Do you prefer a spic-and-span clean house? Or is some clutter necessary to avoid the appearance of a museum?
A house requires a degree of clutter to retain the appearance of being living in. However, I tend to exceed this degree of clutter by about a factor of six or so.

5. Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there?
I tend to prefer basic colors. Blue is a theme. I have a blue sofa, a blue chair, a blue set of sheets, blue pillow cases, etc. Also, with one exception, all my furniture is IKEA beech-finished wood. The warm beech tone and the navy blue go well together. That's all though, I'm by no means a fashion plate.

LiveJournal DDOS

Apparently LiveJournal is undergoing a DDoS attack this week, according to their Status page. I used to host over there, and if I was still invested in my journal there, I would be really ticked off. Actually, I'm still ticked off about it. What sense does it make to DDoS someone? I mean, it doesn't "fix" the problem if someone said something about you that you didn't approve of or like, they'll just find somewhere else to say it. It doesn't make it go away, they'll just filter the traffic until it stops and then take away the filters. It just makes people hate the DDoS'er even more.

Damn script kiddies.
