In the interest of becoming THE repository for everything you need to know about the October 7th referendum, I am going to post EVERYTHING that comes my way from both sides of the issue. Starting with this kick off invitation from former Councilmember Dick Grubar's PAC "People for a Positive Greensboro" and this invitation to the latest in a long line of fundraisers for The Petitoner's Committee for Downtown Neighborhoods efforts to pay their considerable legal bills.
You might also want to visit two opposing websites on the issue to compare and contrast the syles of the two camps. Here is one representing a "For the Ordinance" stance to ban stadiums from Greensboro's Central Business District, and this one is "Against the Ordinance".
It will be my policy to share everything that is meant for public consumption that crosses my messy desk. I will NOT post the considerable number of emails that are sent, forwarded or blind cc'd to me that are of a more private nature. I am confident that there are trojan horses in both camps and I'll not reveal any of mine.
If I were more into editorializing, I would have great fun with the name of the venue chosen for the "Positive Greensboro" kickoff.
