David Hoggard's take on local politics and life in general from Greensboro, NC

I do have a life outside of this campaign.  While I make every attempt to get out an kiss every baby that comes my way, I have three of my own that still command priority.  I am pleased to report:

Aycock Middle 18 - Northwest Middle 12

Aycock's football team is now 2-0 for the first time in recent memory.  It was a very exciting game but what makes it more fun than people are supposed to have is that my sweet and beautiful daughter Josie plays offensive guard and defensive tackle (and oboe) for Aycock.  What a hoot!

My family is holding up very well through this campaign adventure.  Jinni, my amazing wife (of 19 years yesterday) is keeping me focused and balanced.  Jackson, freshman football and tuba player extraordinaire, is a Grimsley Whirlie. My 9 year old baby boy Jesse spends all of his energy just loving life and all that it offers.  He (as Josie before him) attends Jones Spanish Immersion School and is quite the ladies man.

I can't wait until you all get to meet them
