David Hoggard's take on local politics and life in general from Greensboro, NC

Justin Catanoso, editor of The Business Journal, sent me this link to his recent editorial on the inevitability of the stadium construction.

I suspect that this was a test to see if I am sincere about my policy of posting everything that crosses my desk about the issue.   Whatever the reason, thanks Justin.

It has been suggested that I offer a link to Dick Grubar's desktop so folks can request a "Say No To Naysayers" yard sign from his PAC.... I have to draw the line somewhere and that would be it.

From a comment by "Bill" in Ed Cone's blog, regarding my candidacy "I am in favor of the stadium, and won't pretend that he had a chance at my vote".

I am wondering how pervasive his view is?  Is this City Council election going to hinge on baseball?  If so, I could save myself considerable time and energy investigating and commenting on the many varied and critical issues that Greensboro faces.
