Infoworld: "Building on the success of Weblogs for personal Web publishing, enterprises are starting to tap into blogs to streamline specific business processes such as intelligence gathering or to augment traditional content-and knowledge-management technologies."

Matt Croydon writes a "Weblogger Manifesto." He wants to grow as a writer. Matt, "I recognize that I'm a better linker than writer, but I have definately enjoyed writing a few longer mini-pieces so far this year. They're still flying low under the radar, but as I write more, the quality of my work will improve."

Well isn't this the essence of weblogging? We are searching for topics, learning to write, and all the while trying to link to those that we are learning from. Keep on Truckin'.

Denver's Mayoral candidates received a briefing from the Mayor and other City managers yesterday according to this article in the Rocky Mountain News. "His idea for the seminar was twofold - to keep his unfinished projects in front of them and to elevate the level of the debate in the upcoming campaign. " - Rocky Mountain News.

We now have an 8th candidate for Mayor, Jeremy Stefanek.

Ed Thomas' campaign has a website here. Update on the domain squatting episode. The Thomas staffer has agreed to give up the domain registrations he purchased saying it was meant to be just "fun and games."

We also have an official announcement from Elizabeth Schlosser as a candidate for Mayor. She's running as an "outsider" in the campaign. From the article in the Denver Post, "Schlosser vowed to hire a Cabinet of qualified professionals who could tackle the city's budget crisis - and not just by raising revenue with new fees or by bumping parking meter rates, she said." Well she's not afraid to take a jab at Stephanie Foote and the current Mayor. Schlosser was quoted as saying, "'I don't propose that anyone should vote for me because I am a woman,' she said. '(But) it will be refreshing to have someone leading the city from a woman's perspective.'"

I'm still looking for those website links.
