Plane Crash in North Denver

There was a tragic mid-air collision tonight over North Denver. Each plane ended up crashing in the neighborhoods. For those of you that know the City, one went down in Highlands and the other near Sloans Lake.

2003 Denver Municipal Election

DenverGov has listed all of the candidate's they know about along with their website links here. I think this a great service to Denver voters. Spread the word.

One thing that you'll notice is that many candidates still do not have a website. I'll extend my previous offer. Remember people, Radio is $40, and hosting is dirt cheap also. I will help any and all candidates set up a weblog

I don't know if DenverGov's efforts in this election are unique or if some other city led in this area. I think that the election coverage is a perfect example of applying technology to increase democratic participation. Well done!

Flash of History

Jenny is pointing to a great Flash piece that graphically tracks the expansion of the United States. What a great use of Flash. Flash technology is perfect for this type of app since it's fairly lightweight and most importantly, cross-platform.
