2003 Denver Mayoral Election
The Denver Post is running an article about healthcare issues in Denver. Many of the candidates for Mayor are quoted. From the article, "Although the issue is usually addressed at the federal and state level, it is expected to play a prominent role during Denver's mayoral campaign this year."

Martin Luther King Day
Today is Martin Luther King day so Denver employees are encouraged to go to the Marade that starts at City Park this morning. The news last night stated that a marade is a cross between a parade and a march.
The Denver Rocky Mountain News is running an editorial, "The Significance of Martin Luther King". From the Rocky, "Thus one reason for Martin Luther King Day itself: to make sure Americans learn what they may have been in no position to experience for themselves."
