DenverGov is down this morning. I wonder if they're down because of the SQL Server worm wreaking havoc with the Internet today? Sysadmins - patch early and patch often!

2003 Denver Mayoral Election
Another candidate for Mayor announces formally, Phil Perington. Here's the coverage from the Denver Rocky Mountain News and the story from the Denver Post.
Don Mares is getting some grief over "hand delivering" W-2's to City agencies. From the story in the Denver Rocky Mountain News, "Mares said Thursday that he has delivered the W-2s for three years, but the campaigns for Susan Casey and Ari Zavaras said the auditor crossed the line between mayoral campaigning and doing his job."

Plane Crash in North Denver
Coverage of the mid-air collision from the Denver Post and from the Denver Rocky Mountain News. Five people, all passengers on the two aircraft, died in the collision. Amazingly there were not many injuries on the ground, one house destroyed.
