2003 Mayoral Election
Denver Rocky Mountain News: "Casey unveils wish list, Mayoral candidate announcing ideas over 10-day period." This article mentions Sue Casey, of course, but also John Hickenlooper, and it refers to a candidate forum last week at Common Grounds up in my neighborhood. Casey is focusing on the Cabinet selection. This is an important issue.
The Denver Post covered John Hickenlooper's speech to a downtown Rotary Club. Hickenlooper is touting his experience building a business as his best qualifications. He wants to extend temporary visas to immigrant workers to help Denver through the budget crisis. Hickenlooper is open to keeping Webb appointees that have produced.
