Lessig on Eldred vs. Ashcroft
Lawrence Lessig: "The Supreme Court decided this week that the Constitution grants Congress an essentially unreviewable discretion to set the lengths of copyright protections however long it wants, and even to extend them."
Lessig is the Stanford Law Scholar that argued the case before the Supreme Court. The court agreed that extending copyright indefinitely may be "bad policy" but that Congress has the Constitutional right to do so. Now we need to be pushing the Congress on this issue.

EFF
The Electronic Frontier Foundation is asking everyone to ask their Senators to Support the Data-Mining Moratorium Act of 2003. We really need to keep on top of these issues.
