2004 Presidential Election
Taegan Goddard: "Here are the latest polls on the presidential race: New Jersey - Kerry 46%, Bush 40%, Nader 7% (Quinnipiac); Tennessee - Bush 51%, Kerry 41% (Survey USA)."
MakesMeRalph: "Kerry takes commanding lead in NM. Now, this is a Zogby poll, so we may need to take it with a grain of salt, but Kerry has taken a commanding lead in New Mexico: Kerry: 50%, Bush: 43%, Nader: 1%."

Colorado Water
Denver Water will probably not relax water restrictions, even with all the rain the last week, according to the Denver Post [June 23, 2004, "Rains may not ease water limits"]. From the article, "The recent rainy snap dumped 1.3 inches over Denver Water's collection system. June normally delivers about 1.6. After today, wet weather is back in the region's forecast until Monday, according to the National Weather Service office in Boulder."

Denver November 2004 Election
Both Peter Coors and Ken Salazar are again running TV spots, according to the Rocky Mountain News [June 23, 2004, "AdWatch: Please allow me to introduce myself"]. From the article, "Coors, the head of his family's brewing enterprise, is facing former Rep. Bob Schaffer in a competitive Republican primary, and he hit the airwaves with a feel-good, 30-second ad titled, 'I'm Pete Coors.' On the Democratic side, Colorado Attorney General Ken Salazar has aired a two-minute ad titled, 'American Story.' With no previous beer commercials under his belt, the task of introducing himself looms larger than that of Coors."
You can view Salazar's ad from the home page of his website. Coors' ad is also linked from his website. Windows media only, sigh. Message of exclusion.
