Keiko was surprised by the large class tonight. We had two people doing make up classes and Sayo joined this class tonight. Sayo was a student at JOY before, but took a short break.
I spoke to Keiko's friend after class and she said that Keiko had a to cheer on her curling friends tonight and that is why she was absent from class. She will probably be back next week.
We did the Ensemble exercises tonight and it was good practice asking questions and talking about one topic for a long time. People did pretty well, but one group did slip into some Japanese occasionally.
Keiko said that she was getting hooked up to the internet tonight, so she may be able to read this. If she I can I hope she will post a comment.

Everyone was back today, but a little tired. Last Tuesday it started snowing and snowed all day and night. we had over 70 centimeters of snow to move. Kimiko was very tired from all the shoveling. Ikuko was lucky because a neighbor moved all her snow for her.
We did the Duet exercise today. People thought it was difficult, but I think you had an easier time the the high school students did in the Thursday night class. Being able to answer these types of questions is important. I would have to think about how I would answer them for America.
