News: Tight grouping of the planets Saturn, Mars and Venus in Friday night's sky.

Comment: I'm glad it was clear skies, because this was really cool to see. All three of these planets fit in the view of my 10X50 binoculars. We've all been fortunate that Michigan's fickle Spring weather gave us a few clear evenings to see this dance of the planets.

News: The Getty Museum has a very interesting exhibit on their Website -- Devices of Wonder.

Comment: I highly recommend that you view the 1904 film called the "Chinese Conjurer". On the right side of the screen, click on the fourth icon from the top. After you pick up your jaw off the floor, read about how the film was made.
