News: Six arrested for "Nigerian" e-mail fraud -- http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1105-918960.html

Comment: I get one of these Nigerian e-mails about once a month pr so. The catch, if you get involved with the scammers, is you have to upfront your own money to cover "banking fees." I don't feel too sorry for the victims. You have to be pretty greedy and stupid to think someone is going to send you an e-mail and offer to give you thousands of dollars. It's an old but true saying: If a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

News: A great episode of The Simpson's Wednesday night.

Comment: This one was chock-full of brief cultural references. For example, the sea captain mentions his TiVo (http://www.tivo.com), Dr. Hibbard rides a Segway (http://www.segway.com/), and the show opens with the Blue Man Group (http://www.blueman.com/about_bmg/reviews/rev_time.shtml)

News: Police find Chandra Levy's bones: http://makeashorterlink.com/?Q50726CE

Comment: I feel very sorry for the family. They can't go anywhere without seeing news about this tragedy (http://makeashorterlink.com/?Y24713CE). It's ghoulish.
