Peter and I are sitting here watching the Rolling Stones concert on HBO. It is very poorly miked - the sound is awful. You can barely hear Mick and the instruments aren't blending at all. If I were HBO, I do some serious sound fixing before I rebroadcast it.
Keith Richards is quite scary looking - sort of an animated embalmed creature.

Wine of the night (even with the flu): Chateau Reynella 1999 Shiraz. A favorite of ours. A very big thick wine - Almost Italian like. It is surprisingly jammy for a shiraz and spicy but not as spicy as some other Shiraz's. Very good and very distinctive.

I crawled out of bed long enough to go with the Ski Boy to About Schmidt. Quirky but good movie. Jack Nicholson plays against type and does an excellent job. I'll now look at quiet somewhat befuddled 65 year old men and wonder if they have a Jack Nicholson lurking deep inside them. Kathy Bates was also just excellent - she inhabits her roles. And, well, the hot tub scene - you'll just have to see it for yourself.

I have the flu. Fever, coughing, fatigue...ugh....Especially on top of the pelvic floor stuff.
