As a part of our convalescing, the Ski Boy and I are watching Primary Colors this evening. Neither one of us had seen it before. Kathy Bates is fabulous. And after seeing About Schmidt a few weeks ago, it's clear - Kathy Bates is definitely a force of nature.
Also, surprisingly, Larry Hagman was also quite good - he can actually act.

The Ski Boy and I are a pathetic pair tonight. We're both sick: he's still sick with what he came down with last Thursday. I had been getting better but now seem to have caught what Peter has. Which is ironic - I thought Peter came down with what I had last week. But instead it appears as if the Ski Boy's bug is a whole different and exciting critter. sigh...

Rex, at fimoculous (one of my favorite blogs), developed a great application for the Oakland/SanFrancisco NBC affiliate - vote for your favorite Super Bowl ad. Plus it allows you to replay all the ads. I, of course, didn't discover the application until today - but better late than never.
And my favorite ad - the Zebra ad, was the leading vote getter.
