So the Nike Streaker just popped up on my screen as a Flash ad on ESPN.com.

I have got to say, this ad has legs, so to speak. It zoomed way past the Tipping Point in the blink of an eye. When I posted my comment on Sunday, Google didn't have one hit for "Nike Shox Streaker Soccer." Now, four days later, I'm getting 50 hits a day from Google. It is definitely a phenomenon. And it's been very entertaining to watch it take off via my referrer log.

And the ad is now available for download here.

The Ski Boy seems to be doing better. It appears as if he caught the flu that I have and is now already better than I am - it took him twelve hours. Whereas I am on my sixth day. sigh...

But I am way better. Just very tired now with some coughing. I may attempt a few hours of work tomorrow.

A Photoshop challenge.

For all you regular Slat Rat readers who are also photoshop whizzes. I have a challenge for you. Can you turn the photo to the left of the very cute moose calf into a decent pic? Or is it beyond salvation?

If you decide to accept the challenge, do whatever you want to spiffy the photo up. I'll publish all submissions. I would also like to know how you did it.

Who knows. I might even grant a first place prize to best effort.

Note: the calf has a big blotch of snow on his nose. Moose do not have "blazes" like horses do.

Another Note: You can be creative and do interesting things to the photo if you are so inclined.

The Ski Boy is now down for the count. It appears as if he came down with the same stomach flu I had in December. He is very green. He was supposed to fly Outside this morning to visit his daughter who is a ski instructor at Breckenridge. However, when this morning rolled around he was so sick he could barely make the call to Alaska Airlines to cancel.

So now we're both home sick today. Poor Clem isn't going to know what to do!
