The Ski Boy and I attentively listened to "W's" State of the Union speech. Peter was counting syllables and I was listening and counting certain key phrases. So, just what were we doing?
Answer: we were playing "The State of the Union Drinking Game." It's a total hoot.
The high scoring items were:
- Iraq, or Saddam Hussein: 34 utterances (smashes last year's high water mark of 32 "Terror" references)
- Terror/Terrorism/"Terrah": 22 utterances
- Weapons Inspectors: 11 utterances
- Al Qaeda: 8 utterances
- Tax Cut: 5 utterances
- Words of 5 syllables or more: 6 (pretty impressive)
Fortunately, I limited myself to a single glass of wine instead of drinking myself into oblivion. Heck just "Biological, chemical, and nukular weapons," or shots of Hillary and Leiberman would have put me under the table.
