Everyone here at the Partnow Manse but me, Seth, and Clemmie are getting ready for a big fishing trip. The Ski Boy, Alix, and Erin are pulling out of the driveway at 1:00 AM so they can arrive at the mouth of Kasilof River by 4:30 AM. They have visions of many many many King Salmon.
This 1:00 AM/4:30 AM thing sounds like way too much work to be classified as fun!
As a matter of fact, as I was typing this entry, the Ski Boy came in to kiss me good night. He's hitting the sack now so that he can get a few hours of snooze time before hitting the road. Of course the girls still need to make a late night run to get their fishing licenses (with the king stamp!). It's my guess they won't be getting much sleep prior to the 1:00 AM departure.
Clem and I are happy that we're staying home.
