Early this afternoon, it started pouring rain and the temperature dropped to 47 degrees - a far cry from the 82 degrees of two weeks ago.
This evening, the clouds parted a tad and whoa!!!! Termination Dust was heavily in evidence. There's no doubt about now - we're definitely in the midst of Fall and real snow may not be that far away.
Here's another one of my lame panorama attempts. Termination dust along the Chugach:

The Ski Boy is particularly pleased this evening - the Red Sox beat the Rangers and the Yankees lost to the Orioles.
So, the Red Sox are now just 2 1/2 games back from the Yankees. On August 16th, they were 10 games back.
The icing on the cake was Kevin Brown, ace pitcher for the Yankees, slugging his hand into the dugout wall after the game and breaking his hand. Talk about completely stupid.
