As I type, it is blizzarding - giant huge flakes streaming down. The lights are flickering - Peter thinks that falling trees and branches are hitting power lines. This afternoon, we lost half of our giant Mayday tree - it split in two right at the base.

It's been snowing all day. The National Weather Service extended their Snow Advisory through Midnight tonight. They're predicting six inches of wet snow. We've got about two inches on the ground now. And as the temperature drops and the snow starts to cover the ground, it will be easier for the additional snow to stick. So, six inches is a very possible number. I had to break out my trusty Sorels this afternoon.

O.K. - It's September 25th. And as I type, it is snowing to beat the band! The National Weather Service has even issued a Snow Advisory.

Pretty unbelievable - even for Alaska!

Of course, Erin (our young houseguest), myself, and Clem are very excited! Snow!!!!!!!!!! Yipeeeee!!!!!!!!

Here's Erin, Clemmie (in motion - her white beard looks very cool), and poor old Crapbox.

Me, Clemmie, and Crapbox - I have a Clem cookie in my right hand. That's why Clemmie is looking up at me with such adoration.

Our mailbox. The snowmen are very happy!
