Well, the Queen of Whining prevails again!! The front desk just called (much like the governor calling death row at 11:59 in those old movies) and granted a reprieve. We are in for one more night!!! Yippee. We are off to buy a bottle of wine for the wonderful folk at the front desk!!!
(Slat Rat wishes to note this is a guest post by the Ski Boy--she is too busy jumping around and doing cart wheels to sit down at the key board--but she promises pictures later in the day of THE ROOM plus buddies Huey and Dellbert hanging together.)

The Ski Boy and I are on pins and needles awaiting word from the front desk. This is a big weekend in Seattle and hotel rooms were simply not to be found. Originally, when I booked our reservations only Wednesday and Thursday were available. However, through diligent whining on my part and our fabulous front desk, they were able to allow us to keep our room through Saturday morning.
But as a result of the Wazzu-Colorado football game, there really is no room at the Inn for tonight. However, when we checked this morning, the front desk thought they might be able to pull off a miracle.
So, as I type, a miracle is hopefully in the works. News at 11:00 AM.

This is the women's 3rd floor restroom. You may wonder what on earth that green thing is that I'm holding. It's a geocaching travel bug - specifically, it's the Big Flush whose goal in life is to travel around the world and have his picture taken in various potties.
