Shake, rattle, shake Seven earthquakes between 0.8 and 3.4 magnitude within a half hour, starting less than an hour ago. Epicenter at 3 miles SW of Gilroy, so that's maybe 15 miles from here. Enough to make me nervous. We're about 12 miles from the epicenter of the 1989 Loma Prieta quake, which left several neighboring houses knocked off their foundations. Employee satisfaction redux More unrest seen among tech workers. This article highlights the disconnect between managers and employees.
