Among the conclusions from the latest astronomical study: the universe will continue to expand until it grows thin and cold--no collapse to another big bang. I'm glad we got that settled--the whole "tastes great!"--"less filling!" thing had me losing sleep. And we now know the universe's age, within 1%: 13.7 billion years. Phew. No more problem with it buying the beer.
