A nicely done article on blogging and journalism, by Dan Conover of the Charleston Post and Courier (free registration required). Greensboro is considered one of the most active blogging cities in America, and its daily newspaper, The News and Record, has become one of the nation's most blog-friendly...Jay Rosen and other new-media thinkers have written enthusiastically about "the Greensboro experiment," and much national attention is paid to the city's local dialogues.

I'm scheduled to be on MSNBC at about 5:20 this afternoon, doing the daily blog roundup.

UPDATE: Had to bail because of deadlines and some webcasting issues. Just as well as I look like a writer on deadline today. May be on later this week.

Update: as noted in the comments below, I'm not making a judgment on the case of this unfortunate soul; I am saying that public policy should not be decided by false science and tales of miracles.

The Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission has a weblog. I'd love to see this process be as transparent as possible, with posts from the commissioners themselves.
