Who knew? It's against the law for unmarried, unrelated persons of the opposite sex to live together in North Carolina. A woman who lost her job because she lives with her boyfriend is suing to overturn the ancient statute.

Some people really don't like Coach K, and so they write things like Year of the Rat.

I think he did a good job this year, but perspective is in order: "He had taken this ragamuffin band of six high school All-Americans, three returning starters, the ACC player of the year and the ACC defensive player of the year, and won the ACC Tournament by beating the #11 seed, the #6 seed, and the #5 seed."

The real question about those ads he does -- especially the American Express commercial -- is whether they give Duke a recruiting edge. Should any coach be allowed to do such ads?
