A wonderful piece of music is playing in the iPod this morning.
La Sonnerie de Sainte-Genevieve du Mont de Paris> by Marin Marais. I have two versions - a lovely LP (Le Parnasse Farancais with the Musica Antiqua Koln on Archiv 2533 408) and an even better DAT of a live performance that I went to years ago at Oberlin. I managed to transcribe this and convert it to aac, so it is on my Mac rather than my iPod.

Speaking of the iPod, Griffin Technology announced an object of desire for owners of the little music box.
Thirty Five dollars for an FM transmitter is a bit steep, but if this one works half as well as it looks, it is a steal.
You suffer a big drop in quality using a broadcast FM signal, but in a car that may not be a big deal.

Fernando has pointed out that there are issues with using Apple's Keynote for technical presentations and outlines some workarounds. Of course it would be much nicer if Keynote included a good equation editor in the first place.
