We've had a very tragic day.

First our ferret Seven died from complications of a long illness. It wasn't unexpected, but these things are painful as she was an important family member.

Then Scooter, another ferret, developed some strange (and unrelated) symptoms and died a few minutes ago despite the efforts of both of us and our vet Joe.

so sad - this has not beena good year for us. If you have critters, give them hugs.
