Patterns Of Life

Since I have been attending to my court appointed rounds, it's obvious that my daily routines have been somewhat "jumbled". I still rise early but the rest of my days follow a different pattern from the usual fare. This difference is not really all that bad because I have been able to notice a great many things that I would otherwise miss. And this began me thinking about the "patterns" we all follow in life. Plaids_And_Patterns  Sometimes we may get stuck in a rut of typical events, eating, driving and social interactions. This is not to say that ALL routines are unpleasant or disagreeable, in fact, they often allow us that "secure feeling" which helps us make it through the day. But every once in awhile, it is gratifying to find ones self in other than the habitual pace we call daily life. Perhaps we should attempt to change the scenery now and then, look for ways to shake things up and admire alternative "patterns" as they weave themselves through our existence!

Today's Quote:

Life forms illogical patterns. It is haphazard and full of beauties which I try to catch as they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return?.-Margot Fonteyn
