News: It's not your imagination -- it really has been hot and dry this
summer -- http://www.detnews.com/2002/metro/0207/16/a01-538407.htm
Comment: Last year at this time, the temperature had gone over 90 degrees
only four times. It's gone over 90 degrees 12 times already this year
(probably 13 counting today.) But the upside of this dry weather is that
we've had a lot of clear nights so I can use my new telescope. Who cares if
a few lawns get broiled? (heh heh heh)
News: Cool gadget alert -- the Soundbug sticks to tables or wall and turns
into an instant speaker system --

Comment: This could be really handy if you take a laptop presentation
on-the-road and you need some audio that is more powerful than the laptop
speakers. It's amazing how ingenious people can be when they think they
might make a buck.
News: SBAM survey says small businesses ignore Wall Street, show optimism
about the future --

Comment: Few small business owners are big players in the stock market.
They've invested in what they know -- their own businesses. That's what
Jennifer and I did with her business.
I like to tell people that the bad news during the '90's is that I had very
little money in the stock market. But the good news in the '00's is that I
have very little money in the stock market! Who's laughing now?
