What a perfect Alaska day. Days like today are so perfect that they make me nostalgic for all perfect Fall Alaska days that I've experienced in the past 37 years. There's something about the achingly clear blue sky, the chill in the air warning of colder days to come, and eclectic gatherings of people soaking it all up while they can - knowing full well it will soon all end.
Conversations of berry picking, the State Fair, what an incredible summer it's been, hiking, caribou hunting, the impending first day of school, late season salmon fishing, moose and calves, etc.
What a great day.
