Quote of the day"I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of earth, subtleties of major and minor chord that the wind strikes upon the tree branches. Have you ever heard the earth breathe . . ."--Kate Chopin 7:26:11 PM comment []

Color my world....in anything but pastelsI'm not a pastel kind of girl. I don't even wear pastels. So...I dumped the washed out morning glory background and came up with something a little, uhh, a little more Me. You keeping up Joe?? ::wink:: And Preach, about the comment thingy...I do believe Haloscan is working again, and I'll dump the Squawkbox (see, the thing is with Squawkbox, I gotta pay to keep your cookie - and I don't pay for anything I can get free...) So...that'll fix that. Amit and Pam...I almost stuck with it. Scott, honey? You are my holy grail. Oh and one more thing... Our Seventeen magazine arrived today (no, it's not my subscription, but I read it nonetheless) - and I found the most interesting little tidbit. Page 92. "Get him addicted to you..." As you no doubt learned in bio, the Russian scientist Pavlov did this famous experiment: Whenever he put out food for his dogs, he'd ring a bell. After a while he could get the dogs to salivate just by ringing the bell. It's called conditioning, and it doesn't just work on dogs... Just a little secret between girls I thought I'd share ;) 7:17:34 PM comment []
