Shades of James bond -- active camouflage! 6:21:14 AM     Trevor Marshall is an antenna geek. If you like to play around with 802.11, you should check out his pages. The cavalier installation of 802.11b/a in large institutions that should know better is remarkable. The place I was last associated with was as bad about this as any despite having some outstanding rf and security people who were not able to make a great difference. I suspect it is as bad or worse at most companies. 6:20:52 AM     John points out an amazing collection of online calculators. In addition to calculators there are links to any number of monitors - here is a great example covering several space weather indicators. Wolfram Research has an online symbolic intregal tool ... powered by Mathematica:) The input field is rather limited and if you have any great need for integrals you probably have Maple and/or Mathematica and a stack of reference books. Caltech has a neat little applet for an introductory special relativity course. How many calories does your horse burn? It is easy to go on and on (and on and on), but I leave that as an exercise to the surfer. 6:20:21 AM     And finally a holiday treat for OS X users ... probably the prettiest snowflake screen saver I've seen.
