[Google Health News] 5:03:12 PM     I made another strange recipe last night. It turned out pretty good and different! The recipe is originally from allrecipes.com. Here it is: Slow-Cooked Caribbean Chicken and Squash 5 skinless chicken thighs 1 small butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut into 1 1/2" pieces. 1 medium onion, cut into wedges 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes 1/4 cup water or chicken broth 1 tablespoon hot curry power (or any curry powder) 1 teaspoon chopped gingerroot (I used ginger powder) 1 teaspoon salt Combine all ingredients in the crockpot, putting the chicken on top. Cook on low setting 8 to 10 hours until squash is done. Never one to leave a recipe alone, I also added two navel oranges with peel cut off so there was no white stuff to bitter up the dish.
