Farewell Blogger Friends
It has often been said that "all good things must come to an end", and so it is with this blog and with this, the 104th post will be my last. Although I have enjoyed posting here over the past several months and meeting many nice people, my decision to stop was not entered into lightly or without serious thought. There are several reasons why I have come to this conclusion, not the least of which are the many angry and disenchanted comments that I have received lately to my posts. I have often mentioned the fact that the things I write about are simply MY OPINIONS...and belong to no one else. So to receive such indignant responses simply to my thoughts is a bit more than I think I should bear. Certainly, we all have our own opinions and thoughts and I have never attempted to force mine upon ANYONE. You are all free to choose your own paths and far be it for me to attempt to guide you to any particular way of living. It cannot be said that ANY of you were FORCED to come here or pressed to read any of my written words. I truly believed that what I offered was simply another "view" from which we all can learn. After all, what you read here are merely words...it is up to you, the reader to determine the interpretations that come to your mind. However, some people do not wish to hear anything which may apply to their particular situation and feel as if I am intruding upon their lives. So with that, I believe I have stated my case for ending this blog. For those of you who actually liked some of the things I posted about, I apologize but a person can take only so much. My plans from this point, short of no longer continuing this blog, are rather up in the air. Actually, I have been offered a job in South America, interestingly enough...on a banana plantation, writing governmental public relations memos to encourage further worldwide consumption of bananas (see photo attatched).Therefore, I leave you with but one last quote:
