Rainy Days "On" Mondays

As my day began, even before the sun could arise, I noted the damp pavement...the cool breeze and scent of rain in the darkness. Ahhh, once again Monday and a rainy day to boot. Traveling the roads in the pre-dawn hours gave little warning of the heavy rains to come and traffic was typically "light" for the begining of the week. But as the day progressed, it came.Flowing_Fushias  Hour by hour the drops increased in size until such time as there was a steady sheet of liquid falling from the sky above. Clouds darkened, streets darkened and even the attitudes of several people seemed to darken as the day continued. Fortunately for me, my days start early and end earlier than most, so I have little to deal with on the trek home. And once there, it was nice to be inside just watching the rain assist me with the daily watering of the garden. Although some have been known to say that "Rainy Days And Mondays Always Get Me Down", mine was fine and hey, the fushias enjoyed the extra shower so who could complain!
