"Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet. Then all things are at risk. It is as when a conflagration has broken out in a great city, and no man knows what is safe, or where it will end." --Ralph Waldo Emerson

Road Trip

Today and tomorrow I'll be working at Tropic High School. The reason? Rewiring the data cable plant.

I've looked forward to this project for several months. We were supposed to start on Monday, but the Quilt Meeting in Seattle conflicted. Cory was kind enough to postpone my involvement by a couple of days.

My schedule put me back in Salt Lake late last night. To get to Tropic by 10:00 AM I'm leaving home at 5:00 AM. I'm too old for this nonsense, but as I said,it is an important project for me.

This should be fun, although by the time I get home Thursday I'll have between 60 and 65 hours in this week. I'd play hooky on Friday, but that morning is the June Steering Committee meeting followed by a lunch to honor George Brown. George is retiring at the end of this month.

Well, I'm off to work. Wish me luck.........
