Driving Alertly This morning's journey was a good one. Everyone at both stops were super friendly and made the time there enjoyable.
On the way over to the second stop via a highway in the back roads of Wisconsin, I was reminded that you must be paying attention to what's happening around you while you're driving. Twice school buses stopped and picked up kids--one going in the same direction as me and the other going the opposite direction. If you're not paying attention on a two-lane road with hills, the results could be disastrous. Then two ambulances sped by in the opposite direction. Traffic in both lanes pulled over and stopped. Again, if you're not paying attention, you could cause some serious damage/injury to vehicles slowing down/stopping.
On the way home, I fueled up in Madison, WI and made it to the warehouse about an hour earlier than I thought I'd arrive there (Nope--wasn't speeding. Our trucks our governed under 65-MPH). So I arrived home earlier than I expected. Sweet! The weekend begins!
Monday morning I'll be going to the greater Green Bay, WI area for three stops. Then maybe, just maybe, I'll have time to wash the tractor provided the weather is warmer than 40-degrees. Then again, this is Wisconsin. If you don't like the weather, wait 5-minutes and the weather will change!
