It alternated snowing and raining for much of the morning as I drove almost to the middle of Iowa and back to Wisconsin. By the time I reached Dubuque, IA, it had stopped precipitating and the sun started to come out. Typical Good Friday-like weather. More times than not, Good Friday has had rotten weather for a portion of the day and then, before the end of the day, the sun appears. The cross-of-Christ event heralded a dark storm before the glorious resurrection event 3-days later.
Next week it should be pushing 60+ degrees in Iowa. Maybe next week I'll be able to wash the truck for the first time since I've been assigned to it (it looks like it hasn't had a wash for months!)
miles driven = 394
PostScript: The UW-Madison Badgers made it past North Carolina in the Sweet Sixteen and are now in the Final Eight! What's up with Wisconsin this year? Gotta be the cheese! Go Badgers!
