It's warm...no wait...cold outside Shortly after midnight, it had to be around 50-degrees. Whoo-hoo! That burst of warmth was short-lived however. As I climbed into my truck to head up to the greater Green Bay, WI area, it began to rain. By the time I arrived in Green Bay, the rain had turned to snow. Then headed back towards Milwaukee, WI area, it morphed between snow, freezing rain, and sleet. Needless to say, the temperature had again turned colder.
Back at the warehouse, I learned that I would be making an early morning run to Chicago, IL tomorrow and then heading towards Minnesota in the afternoon for a Wednesday morning delivery.
Got home early and tried installing a racing car software package on the computer for my son. Two-hours and three computers later, I was no further ahead than when I started. Ahhhhh! (That's an abbreviated version of my wrathful moments) My wife returned the software. We bought it from the public school where my kids attend. We got a good deal on this car racing software--software that was highly rated by someone's glowing recommendation. Go figure--a public school (through no fault of it's own) distributes supposedly good software that's a bear to install on a computer(s) system.
All that was left was to explain to my son that his hero (me!) couldn't get the job done. He didn't really understand but he was fairly good about the whole thing. Oh well, now I'll have to research everything all over again and probably shell out more money to buy a better racing car software game suitable for young kids. All I have to say is that it better be an easy install!
