Car Deja Vu Yesterday's drive was mostly sunny and without rain -- I just happened to drive in areas in between the rain drops that fell throughout the day.
I figured out how to use the load securement nylon strap that I mentioned yesterday. At the end of the day, I had to pick a new one up since the other one was left in the trailer that I dropped at the warehouse. They closed just before I arrived yesterday afternoon so I had to leave the trailer in the yard along with the nylon strap.
On the drive from Minneapolis towards Madison, WI, I noticed the same car pass me more than 5-times. I think the drive of the car had a super-small bladder since it seemed every 45-minutes or so, I'd see the same car go by me again. It's not uncommon to see the same vehicle pass you by on the way to your destination. However, it is unusual to see the same vehicle go by you a number of times during a stretch of highway.
Monday I received my load assignment. I'll be picking up a rail-trailer in the Madison, WI area, delivering it to a rail yard in Chicago, IL and then picking up another rail-trailer and delivering it to Oconomowoc, WI. Hopefully, I can pick up the first trailer in Madison before the scheduled noon appointment time. That way I'll miss Chicago rush hour traffic later in the day.
