Mr. C (day dispatch) called me this morning. He assigned an ASAP load that was due up in the Minneapolis area by 2:00 PM. Even though I couldn't make it there on time, he said not to worry (I did get it there by 2:45 PM).
Now I really know how far I can go through Minneapolis before turning back and making it back home in one day. I used up all 11-hours of my driving time as well as my total combination driving and on-duty time of 14-hours.
The drive there and back was a bit windy, a bit sunny, and a bit rainy.
Well, please excuse the brevity of this post, but I'm tired. Good night!
