Today's deliveries in the Duluth, MN area went well. Just before unloading at my first stop, the fog rolled in from the bay. As I watched the weather change unfold, I didn't think it would roll as far inland as it did. No matter since it wasn't that thick but rather a wispy and somewhat hazy fog.
The drive back went well. After leaving Duluth, the fog lifted rather quickly. Then the clouds gave way to sun.
For some reason I was a bit more weary than usual. Perhaps having only one-day off during the holiday weekend contributed to that (as well as readjusting to 1st-shift driving again).
I arrived back at the warehouse and will be ready to roll in the morning at 5:00 AM (I believe I'll be heading to Chicago, IL).
I found out that the kids are still at my mom and dads for the evening. Whoo-hoo! (I love the kids but I also love my wife!)
